We have a firewall. We’re secure… right?
A security audit is a useful tool for managers to see exactly how secure their network actually is. We’ll look on “both sides” of your Firewall to find any “holes” in your network’s security. Your firewall is only a small piece of the overall security of your LAN and are generally programmed as gatekeepers. They either “let it in” or “keep it out”… that’s about it. “Software” firewalls only work when the “malicious code” actually makes it “to” the computer or server it’s loaded on.
An inside perspecive. What about those that are already on the inside of your network? (a.k.a. – your employees) Can an e-mail that the firewall let “in” have a virus? You bet. What about programs that were downloaded from the Internet? Is sensitive data secure from accidental deletion by those that use your network on a daily basis? You need and increased level of security on your network. Securing a network requires knowing where to look on “both” sides of the firewall, and allowing just the right amount of access so as not to impair your business while at the same time protecting it from being “blind sided” from malicious attacks. Our Security Audit may be just what you need to get an inside perspective.
